His wife Sakshi (Ashwini Bhave) is the lady of the house, who keeps the joint family strong in times of crisis. Apart from their daughter Etasha, they have a son, Mohit (Kunal Karan Kapoor). The family also comprises Lily D’Silva Naik Raikar (Neena Wadhwa), Tarun’s mother, who had lost her husband and daughter in a car accident before her son’s death. Throughout, the narrative gives us a vibe that there’s an unnerving silence, seemingly out of guilt, in everyone’s mind and it adds a layer of intrigue to this complex murder mystery.Directed by Abhishek Sarpotdar, it’s a well-woven thriller that revolves around different versions of one murder. As the narrative progresses, complexity increases with each episode and makes you believe that almost any of these family members could be behind Tarun’s death. Despite its melodrama, this series—co-written by Karmanya Ahuja, Bijesh Jayarajan, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Anita Nair—keeps you hooked mostly because of the way it weaves in the unpredictability of characters. Twists and turns are well-timed and shift the story’s events quickly to everyone’s surprise.
