StoryLine:

“Chhorii 2,” the sequel to the 2021 horror film, picks up seven years after the events of the first movie. Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha), now a mother, is living a seemingly peaceful life with her young daughter, Ishaani (Hardika Sharma), who suffers from a rare condition making her extremely sensitive to sunlight. Adding to the horror is Daasi Maa (Soha Ali Khan), a malevolent caretaker-like figure with dark powers, tasked with preparing Ishaani for this terrifying ritual.

As Sakshi confronts not only the superstitious cult and their horrifying traditions but also the menacing Daasi Maa, she must fight with fierce intensity to save her daughter from a grim fate. The film delves into the societal issue of child marriage, weaving it into a supernatural horror narrative filled with spine-chilling moments and a tense atmosphere. Sakshi’s journey becomes a battle against both earthly and unearthly evils as she confronts the darkness that continues to haunt her and the young women in the cursed village.
