Om, who loves to be part of comedy films, shares with ETimes, “This film will take the audience on a roller- coaster ride of emotions, away from the fear and uncertainty of the present time. I love to do comedy films, as I feel that is the most difficult genre. It is not easy to make people laugh, especially in this current situation.”The rom-com revolves around a rich and overprotective grandfather whose granddaughter falls in love with a salesman. He believes, like every other guy this guy is also running after his granddaughter’s property. “The film will show how this guy wins her grandfather’s heart through a series of comic tests,” said the director, adding, “I will be working with Om for the first time and I want to present him in a new avatar. During the workshop, I found his comic timings were good.”Meanwhile, Ayoshi, whose last big screen outings were Sayantan Ghosal’s ‘Satyanweshi Byomkesh’ and Raja Chanda’s ‘Harano Prapti’, is very much excited to be a part of this film. She said: “Pathikrit has directed big commercial films earlier. His work has been liked by everyone so I’m more than happy to get directed by him. I think he puts in a lot of thought behind every character, which is quite helpful for an artiste. I am very excited to be a part of Dadur Kirti.”
