StoryLine:

The Russian Czar Peter the Great commissions Jonathan Green, an English traveller, to map the Far East territories of the Russian Empire. Green sets off on yet another long journey, full of unbelievable adventures, which eventually leads him to China. On his way, the famous cartographer makes breath-taking discoveries, meets mysterious creatures, Chinese princesses, deadly masters of oriental martial arts, and even Lun Van, the King of Dragons, himself. What could be more perilous than looking into the eyes of Viy? The director of the movie is Oleg Stepchenko, a well-known producer, writer, and director by movies like Forbidden Kingdom (2014), Jacked$ (2004) or Velvet Revolution (2005). He has also written this movie with a help of Dmitry Paltsev and Alexey A. Petrukhin.In the main roles are Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)), Golden Globe winner Arnold Schwarzenegger (Predator (1987), Eraser (1996), The 6th Day (2000)), Jackie Chan (Who Am I? (1998), Rush Hour (1998), Police Story (1985)), Primetime Emmy nominee Charles Dance (Gosford Park (2001), The Imitation Game (2014), TV Series Game of Thrones (2011-2015)), Xingtong Yao (Armour of God III (2012), Jackie Chan Presents: Amnesia (2015)) and others.

This movie is weird for so many reasons, that I don’t know where to start… Firstly, it had already the premiere in China, Russia and a lot of other countries past September, currently, it’s in theaters in Spain and the Netherlands. It comes to France and the UK in April, and there is no date for US release?! Secondly, when you take a look at the trailer, it looks like two movies in one, with different stories… lol… And, for the end… It looks like a computer game, and it’s really weird to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan together in the movie like this.
