Krishnakanter Will is a 2007 Indian Bengali-language romantic thriller film directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. It is a remake of the 1955 film Chokher Bali, which was based on the novel of the same name by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. The film tells the story of Gobindalal (Jeet), a wealthy young man who is married to the innocent and childlike Bhromor (Swastika Mukherjee). The entire estate has been left to Rohini (Anil Kapoor), a beautiful and mysterious widow.

Gobindalal is initially angry and resentful, but he is soon drawn to Rohini’s intelligence and sensuality. The two begin a passionate affair, which threatens to destroy Gobindalal’s marriage and his reputation.Meanwhile, Haralal, Gobindalal’s cousin, is also determined to get his hands on the Krishnakanta estate. He forges a new will that leaves everything to him, and he enlists the help of Rohini to carry out his plan.

However, Rohini has second thoughts and decides to help Gobindalal instead. She tells him the truth about the forged will, and the two of them work together to expose Haralal and his treachery.In the end, Gobindalal and Bhromor reconcile, and Rohini is able to find happiness with a new man. The film is a complex and nuanced exploration of themes such as love, betrayal, and redemption.
