StoryLine:

Rabbit Max, a juvenile shoplifter, gets trapped in an old-fashioned school. With rabbit girl Emmy, he acquires Easter Rabbits’ secret skills, battles a sneaky fox family and learns about friendship.The animation on this doesn’t look quite as good or crisp as it could be. The dubbing and voice acting too is sometimes awful in the English dub version. It’s weird though the ecosystem of this movie includes city rabbits that are street wise gang members who go into local human stores and basically shop lift everything they can find, don’t believe in some fairy tale about Easter egg rabbit schools.Then there’s country rabbits that live elsewhere in a giant forest that are basically like the Amish crossed with Buddhist monks from a kung fu movie. And then the foxes that are the antagonists against the rabbits are portrayed as the biggest redneck backwoods country bumpkins from Deliverance ever.This movie screams DTV yet apparently got a theatrical release in Europe.Apparently it was directed and written by Germans but it was animated by Chinese animators.The ultra-religious viewers of this will probably get pissed at the connotations that get given out that without Easter Rabbits there wouldn’t be Easter as a plot point, taking a very secular view of Easter.The Foxes motivation for everything they do is murky as hell by the way besides it just being they are purely jealous and hungry.Those Rabbits are taking a bath in a river but apparently don’t take their underwear off to do so for some reason. The animators seriously wanted to protect kids from naked animated anthropomorphic rabbits.
