Klara (Olga Kurylenko) is a translator with a French Army unit deployed in Syria as a part of Operation Chammal. When she botches an interrogation and her team takes casualties, a mentally-scarred Klara is transferred back home to Nice, where she’s assigned to a patrol operating as a part of Sentinelle, the French government’s domestic anti-terrorism initiative. Geared up and heavily armed, Klara and her squad mostly give directions to tourists. It’s unsatisfying work for a battle-tested veteran, but Klara also can’t shake the memory of what went down in Syria, and is crippled by flashbacks while out on patrol. The army docs put her on opioids, beta blockers, and sedatives, but the prescription runs out, and by now Klara’s hooked. She turns to copping pills from a street dealer even as she works to maintain a sense of normalcy with her mother and sister Tania (Marilyn Lima).Sentinelle 2021 Movie Download.
One night, as Tania and Klara are dancing in the club, Tania catches on with a group of Russian diplomats partying in the VIP. Dancing and flirting with a woman, Klara watches Tania leave with the Russians. And when she’s discovered the next day on the beach, beaten and raped, Klara’s already tenuous emotional state is shattered completely. The cops’ hands are tied because of diplomatic immunity, so Klara takes to cruising by the Russians’ compound while on duty. She even targets the guy she’s fingered as the culprit, and causes a dust-up in a bathroom where she draws on her training to mop the floor with his friends. Even still, the Russians seem to be untouchable, as her sister lies bruised in a hospital recovery room, afraid to press charges. Her noble aims darkened by addiction and rage, Klara decides there’s only one way to pay back the Russian diplomats for everything they’ve taken from her and her family. As they say in the army, lock and load.
