Set in the fictional patriarchal medieval European kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious, alcoholic, adventurous gentle, selfless and fearless princess, her naive elf companion Elfo, and her destructive but caring “personal demon” Luci having adventures in different locations.Disenchantment Season 1-4 Download

The first half of the first season begins with Bean having to complete a marriage in order to unite her kingdom, Dreamland and another kingdom called Bentwood, but after sometime the marriage eventually fails because of Merkimer, her second groom drinking a potion made of elf and pig’s blood that transformed him into a pig. The events that follow a series of misadventures that Bean and her friends, Elfo and Luci get into while Zøg, Dreamland’s king and Bean’s father tries to find a way to make the elixir of life. As the first half of the season concludes, Zøg is impatient about his failed experiments until his advisor, Odval reveals that he forgot an ingredient, a vial called the Eternity Pendant, Zøg later sends Bean, Elfo and Luci to retrieve it. When Bean and her friends return from the quest, they make a final attempt to make the elixir but it fails again, it is later clarified that Elfo is not a real elf so thus he is of no use to Zøg so he banishes Elfo from Dreamland. Bean and Luci later escapes Dreamland in search of Elfo and later find him the woods. The next day, Elfo returns to his homeland, Elfwood in search of who he is but the place is attacked by Zøg’s knights who are planning to capture the elves in order to suck their pure blood out to complete the elixir of life but Bean, Elfo and Luci intervene with the result of a short victory until Elfo gets stabbed by an arrow, leaving him dead. Bean is left furious by this and later talks with her father at the cathedral. Zøg reveals that the elixir was meant for his long dead wife, Queen Dagmar who was turned to stone, 15 years ago. After Zøg leaves, Bean is left devastated until Luci gives her the pendant he stole from Zøg and then, with a heavy heart Bean resurrects Dagmar from her petrification and they happily reunite with Bean left a bit sad for her friend.
