She’s one of the few survivors, but she wakes up from the accident with no memories. She has no idea what happened or even who she is. That’s why we get to discover all the answers right alongside her. Since this is a horror mystery, it does get pretty creepy along the way.As we follow Alma (Mireia Oriol) on her road back to recovery and her memories, things get very weird. Usually in ways that can only be described as supernatural or paranormal. You won’t have to wait long for the first clues as to what is going on.However, since this is both horror and mystery, we only get a few answers and clues at a time.For those who are a bit squeamish, I also feel that I should warn you about the bus accident that kills several and hurts the rest – to varying degrees. It is very well done and if you’ve ever been in any kind of transportation accident, it hits pretty close to home.Also, since this is a horror story, some of the deaths during this accident are very violent and bloody. Consider yourself warned.

The absolute star of The Girl in the Mirror is Mireia Oriol. She is both the title character in the original title of Alma and the international title. After all, the story does revolve around the girl she sees in the mirror but does not recognize since she has amnesia.Other key actors in the series are Álex Villazán (Skam España), Pol Monen (Your son), Milena Smit (Parallel Mothers), and Maria Caballero (Netflix series The Longest Night).Overall, there are quite a lot of characters in The Girl in the Mirror, but it doesn’t take away from the story. After all, it is very character-driven and, as such, it makes sense that the story touches on both the key characters and those around them.
